Product Care

The majority of our products are made from 100% Merino wool, we also use small amounts of cotton in some items to give a bright pop of colour!

Caring for wool

One of the many benefits of wool is that it does not get dirty easily, for normal use airing it for a day or two will freshen the garment and get rid of any smells.

Airing wool after wearing allows any moisture to evaporate, prevent odours and eliminate the need for excess washing or cleaning.

Washing

For woollen products it is advised that you hand wash or dry clean them, do not machine wash.

To hand wash, use cool water and a mild detergent suitable for wool. Move the woollen item gently in the water, do not agitate or rub. Rinse once or twice, try to keep all rinses the same temperature, to avoid felting. After rinsing, gently squeeze out excess water. Do not wring. Dry your garment on a flat surface preferably on a towel, away from direct heat. Once dry, steam gently with an iron on a low heat.
