Product Care

The majority of our products are made from 100% Merino wool, we also use small amounts of cotton in some items to give a bright pop of colour!

Caring for wool

Caring for wool is easy as long as you follow a few simple steps. Because our products are made from natural wool fibres, they can only be hand washed or dry cleaned. Our products are not suitable for machine washing. Thankfully, one of the great benefits of wool is that it does not get dirty easily. Often airing your accessory for a day or so will let the fabric breath, getting rid of any odours.

We advise airing wool after wearing to allow moisture to evaporate, prevent odours and eliminate the need to wash or clean too often.

Washing

For all our products we advised that you hand wash or dry clean them, do not machine wash.

To hand wash, use cool water and a mild detergent suitable for wool. Put the product in the water and very gently move around, do not agitate or rub. Rinse once or twice, try to keep all rinses the same temperature, to avoid felting. After rinsing, gently squeeze out excess water. Do not wring. Dry your garment on a flat surface, a towel placed beneath the product can soak up excess water. Keep away from direct heat. Once dry, steam gently with an iron on a low heat, being carful not to press too hard to preserve the texture of the product.
